# How do I sign in?

The landing page, the operator and investor information pages, and the deal list are reachable without signing in. Dashboards, deal details, the simulator, and the operator application workspace require a signed-in session.

**Sign in with an email link (default)**

1. Enter your email address and choose to receive a sign-in link.
2. Check your inbox for an email containing a **Sign in** button and a 6-digit code.
3. Click the button, or type the code into the platform. The code is useful if the link opens on a different device than the one you started on.

The link and code expire after 15 minutes and can be used only once. Request a new one if it has expired. If the sign-in form reports **Too many attempts**, wait a few minutes before trying again.

**Sign in with a password**

Choose **Use a password instead** on the sign-in form to enter your email and password. You can switch back with **Email me a sign-in link instead**.

**Session length**

A signed-in session lasts 7 days. After that you will be asked to sign in again. You can sign out at any time from the user menu in the header.
