# What is the Data Room and how do file buckets work?
> How Response, Working Set, and Archive buckets set file priority.

The **Data Room** lives in the Findings panel and lists every file attached to your deal, grouped into three buckets. Buckets set priority: when the same information appears in more than one file, the file in the higher-priority bucket wins.

| Bucket | Priority | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| **Response** | Highest | Your uploads. New files land here. When a question has answers in several places, files here are read first and trusted above the others. |
| **Working Set** | Middle | The reference set curated by the review team and used in the latest analysis. Consulted when Response files do not cover a topic. |
| **Archive** | Lowest | Older or superseded files kept for reference. Consulted only when neither of the other buckets covers a question. |

**Moving files**

Drag a file between columns, or drop it on a bucket icon, to promote or demote it. Each file's menu also offers **Move to** and **Delete**, and each bucket offers **Move all files to** another bucket. The **How buckets work** control in the Data Room header repeats this explanation.

**Investor Data Room**

A fourth view, **Investor Data Room**, shows which documents investors can see. Operators can view this list but cannot change it; the Compute Labs team decides which files are shared with investors.
