Why do I sign an NDA, and how does it work?
Why the non-disclosure agreement is required and how electronic signing works.
The review process involves confidential financial and operational information on both sides. A standard non-disclosure agreement protects that information, so signing it is step 3 of the application and is required before documents can be uploaded.
Before you sign
Signing requires a signed-in account, because the signature is tied to your identity. If you are not signed in when you reach the NDA step, you can sign in without leaving the page. The left panel shows who you are signing as (name, email, company, country) so you can confirm the details.
Signing
The agreement is presented for electronic signature inside the page. Review the terms, check the agreement box, and sign. The document is hosted by DocuSign over an encrypted connection. Status messages guide you through: Preparing NDA document, Please review and sign the NDA, Verifying signature, then NDA signed successfully. If the status takes a moment to update after you sign, use Check Status Now.
After you sign
- The application moves to the Documents step automatically.
- A signed copy is emailed to your address, and you can Download signed NDA from the application at any time.
- Your deal now has a permanent link you can return to.
If signing fails, choose Try Again. If the problem persists, contact [email protected].
